Peer Ministry: Service & Justice

My name is Laura Riley and I am the Service and Justice Peer Minister this year. Currently, I am a Senior double majoring in Animal Science and Animal Ecology, Pre-Vet. Med. A Cardinals fan from birth, I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. The cornerstone of my Catholic faith is following Christ by serving and loving others. And, I am also very passionate about international social justice, particularly recently the issues of fair trade goods, trade policy, and environmentally responsible business practices. If you are ever interested in discussing the pros/cons of any of these issues or others, I always love a good discussion. Outside of church I enjoy all sorts of competitive sports including triathlons, swimming, running, ice hockey, soccer and racquetball to name a few. I am the vice president for the ISU Triathlon Club and I am also a member of the Pre-Vet Club. Even though I will be graduating this spring, no, I don't know what I want to do with my life. (I'm open to suggestions) And last but not least, it's soda, not pop.
