After three years here at STA I find that I am still very grateful to be here! St. Thomas is such a welcoming parish and it is a wonderful challenge to engage Catholic students in their faith. I also enjoy working with all our parishioners on everything from our twin parish relationship in Honduras, and our AMOS community organization, to feeding the needy at Food@First and the Emergency Residence Project. I also coordinate service trips, and administer the campus ministry program, so I am very busy most of the time! In my spare time, I am committed to helping the Mustard Seed Catholic Worker Farm become successful.
Before coming to St. Thomas I was campus minister at University of Central Missouri. I have also served as a liturgist, lived in a Catholic Worker house, and worked for Sprint. I have a BA in English & Philosophy and have done graduate work in liturgical studies and higher education. I am also an oblate of St. Benedict. My family is very important to me, so travels often include a stop in Kansas City or Omaha, but I enjoy hanging around Ames and socializing with friends, too!
Peace!
