Bobby is originally from Louisiana. He was born & raised in Baton Rouge, in the shadow of LSU, and lived in New Orleans for 15 years.

Bobby begins his 14th year as Business Manager for the parish. Before coming to STA, Bobby was a religious Brother (Brothers of the Sacred Heart) for 19 years. With a degree in secondary education from Loyola University in New Orleans he served as classroom teacher, supervisor of student teachers, track coach and facilities administrator in Catholic high schools in four states: Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Connecticut. Bobby is a product of Catholic education from kindergarten to graduate school. He also worked for one year in a homeless shelter in Shreveport, Louisiana, overseeing a men's shelter and managing a soup kitchen that fed 150-250 meals two times a day.

His graduate studies have included theology, religious studies, spirituality and education at Fordham, University of New Orleans, St. John's (NYC) and Tulane universities. He has been involved with community service, liturgy, administration and Religious community spirituality.

Bobby's brother lives in Birmingham, Alabama and his sister in small rural village in the state of Jalisco in central Mexico.

Along with his financial oversight responsibilities he coordinates the program of charism discernment for the parish. His other parish responsibilities include: buildings & grounds & maintenance, the Cardinal House rental property, and the day-to-day operation of the church and student center. As part of his responsibilities he is a member of Finance & Administration Commission, Buildings and Grounds committee, Stewardship committee, and Personnel Committee. Bobby enjoys photography, watching LSU football (is there football outside of the SEC?), computers, writing, and Cajun food.
