Becoming Catholic
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
is the process by which people become members of the Roman Catholic Church.
The process is adapted for children 7 years of age and older.
The RCIA process is for:
- People who have never been baptized
- People who have been baptized but have had little or no faith formation
- People who have been baptized and have had faith formation in another denomination
- People who have been baptized in the Catholic Church but who have not received the Sacraments of Initiation: Eucharist & Confirmation.
Interested?
Call St. Thomas Aquinas Church 292-3810 to meet with the RCIA coordinator. At
that meeting you can ask any questions you have & she (he) will explain
how the process can be adapted to your needs.
Inquirers/catechumens/candidates/sponsors meet Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:45pm in Prophets/Martyrs Room. Sessions meet year round so come in when you are inspired to "come and see."
