Why are we doing this?

Pope John Paul II published the third edition of the Roman Missal to commemorate the new millennium. This edition includes prayers for recently canonized saints and additional prefaces for the Eucharistic Prayers, more Votive Masses, and Masses and Prayers for Various Needs and Occasions.

Additionally, this edition is a more accurate translation of the Latin text, with the intention that the dialogue’s scriptural roots will be more visible.
