Catechists at St. Thomas Aquinas

Catechists for religious education, sometimes called religious education teachers, not only bring themselves to the classrooms, they volunteer their time and share their talents, enthusiasm and faith with the children of our parish. All Catechists and Aides (18 years or older) in the STA religious education program have fulfilled the requirements of the Archdiocese's "Policy for the Protection of Minors" by attending a VIRTUS training session, been through a background check and had references checked. Are you called to be a catechist? Do you enjoy working with children and/or youth? Do you want to grow in your faith life? Would you like to become updated in the Catholic religion? If you have answered "YES" to the above questions then being a catechist at STA may be a ministry for you to explore. Openings are in preschool through grade 12, both on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. For more information please contact DRE Kathy White at 292-3810. Contacting your child's catechist Please take the time to meet your child's catechist.
