- Ash Wednesday is coming soon... Wed., Feb. 6. There will not be CLASS as there is MASS at 7:30pm. Middle and high school students will be doing the liturgical roles (YM Vanessa is sending an e-mail about rehearsal times etc. for those who've signed up to help.)
- One change on the RE Calendar--The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be held on a Wed. night instead of class. However, the date has been changed to Wed., Mar. 5, 7pm. RE classes will meet as usual on Wed., Feb. 27.
- Looking ahead...Make plans as a family to attend the Whole Parish Catechesis during the Season of Lent: Sun., Mar. 9 (offered after the 10:30am Mass and before the 7pm Mass) or Wed., Mar. 12, 6-8pm). The topic is the Triduum--How and why we celebrate Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil, and Easter Sunday. Each 2 hour session begins with a meal. Then high school students and adults will remain in the lower lounge for a DVD presentation (with pictures from the last 4 year's Triduum held at STA.) Middle school, elementary, and pre-k/kindergarten students will go to classrooms to also learn about the Triduum, but doing age-appropriate activities. (Whole parish catechesis replaces regular RE classes on these two dates.)
