- A new offering for STA’s adult parishioners, ages 35ish and older. Come join other parishioners for engaging discussions on current Catholic topics of interest, in a relaxed atmosphere, with food and drink.
- Our first “Wisdom and Wine will be held: Friday, Feb. 8, 7-8:30pm at Somerset Clubhouse (2400 Aspen Road, Ames).
- The night’s topic is Immigration and our guest speaker is Tom Chapman, Executive Director for the Iowa Catholic Conference. Tom will outline the current immigration situation in the U.S. He will also speak on needed reform, from the Catholic Church’s perspective, and highlight what is presently happening in the National and Iowa Legislatures. After his 20-30 minute talk, there will be a break and then time for discussion and questions from the audience. Hors d’oeuvres, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will be served throughout the evening.
- Wisdom and Wine is sponsored by STA’s Board of Education. Pre-registration by Thursday, Feb. 7 is strongly recommended (to ensure enough food and drink for all attending.)
- Pre-register by e-mailing DRE Kathy White at Kathy@STAparish.net or calling the parish office at 292-3810.
