Philosophy of Faith Formation

Christian faith formation is life-long. It involves parishioners at all ages and stages of life, including adults, elderly, young adults, adolescents, children of catechetical age, Catholic schools, early childhood, family, persons with disabilities, and the marginalized. Faith formation focuses on the six tasks of catechesis:

• 1) Promotion of the knowledge of the faith
• 2) Liturgical Education
• 3) Moral Formation
• 4) Teaching to pray
• 5) Education for community life, and
• 6) Missionary initiation.

It also focuses on a comprehensive spiritual growth plan for all ages and stages of parishioners.
